- The CDC is starting to say that wearing cloth masks is a good idea 😷. I have a feeling they really think we should be wearing real (e.g. N95) masks, but they know that supplies are currently so constrained on them that people won’t be able to get them and it would make the dire situation a lot of our health workers and health systems are already in, worse if the public starting clamoring for them. They should really have prepared better earlier on – and probably shouldn’t have ever told people they didn’t need to wear masks.
